The Toy Soldier Factory has become popular with all ages, from school tours, family days out to company team building, hen parties & active retirement groups, everyone is a kid when it comes to making toy soldiers, fairies, chess sets and christmas decorations, we have a huge range to choose from.

Make & Paint Workshop

Our Make and Paint workshops are a big hit with everyone.
The workshops run from 40 mins to 60mins or a more intense workshop that can last up to 90 minutes.

The Battle of Waterloo Exhibit!

A visit to our exhibit depicting the historic Battle of Waterloo in 1815 is a must.

Learn how the Irish commander, the Duke of Wellington, recruited over 30,000 Irish men to the British army and how these courageous men fought off the French troops that were under the command of the French Emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte.

This huge diorama measures 26×13 feet or 8×4 meters in dimensions and contains 15,000 hand cast and painted 25mm scale metal figuries. All figures are from the Prince August range of products and are available in our shop or on-line from our website www.princeaugus.ie

It depicts the historic and monumental battle of Waterloo, displaying the thousands of men and their cavalry in fine detail during the courageous battle.
This is a once in a lifetime experience.

The Toy Soldier Factory produces a variety of starter kit that contain moulds that used at home to create your own display: e.g. traditional soldiers, romans, vikings, chess sets, fairies, teddy bears. Also available is a vast collection of hand painted gift products which can be bought from our visitor centre.
