This blog takes you on the journey to proposing to my fiancé in Adare Manor on Sunday 20th December 2015, and beyond!

Over the past several months, and before then as well, I have been lucky to visit some of the most fantastic restaurants around Ireland and also sample (many times!!) some of the best craft beer and whiskey as well. We hope you enjoy my reviews and hopefully get to experience some of the best dining and drinking experiences in Ireland afterwards.

We have some absolutely amazing restaurants, new and old breweries creating some superb beers and distilling some wonderful whiskey. It’s great supporting local as well and thankfully my drinker’s palate very much enjoys the various craft beers I’ve tried since the industry took off a few years back. Whether you agree with my opinions of course is up to you but I’ll give them all the same…!

It’s been a fantastic few months and I’ll very much enjoy retelling some of those stories throughout this Blog. That’s only the beginning though, there are many more chapters to write from now on as well with many more restaurants to visit and even better drinking more craft beer and more whiskey!
