The White House Gallery & Artisan Coffee Shop
One mile west of Kilcrohane on the beautiful Sheep's Head Peninsula, is a gourmet Coffee Shop with gorgeous organic teas. Corina's large cappuccino is legendary amongst cyclists and weary walkers, and along with Mick's scones (from an old Cotswold secret recipe) bring cream teas to life. The hot food is always seasonal, fresh and lovingly created; the sandwiches and soup have been described as extraordinarily delicious.
The White House Gallery is a cultural centre of excellence within the cosy, intimate setting of the old WhiteHouse Bar and is a welcome stop for anyone travelling the Sheep's Head or Wild Atlantic way. Enjoy the views of Thorn's art, Dunmanus bay or the cascading stream, with food music and craic. Mick and Corina have recently renovated 'The West Barn' on the site of the three SW Peninsula's ancient Ceile crossroads and it has become home to many great sessions, gigs, comedy nights and parties.
