Our waxing Here at The White Orchid we have created a salon for our clients where the highest level of service and hygiene are always met. We are proud to say that we have a no doubling dipping policy this means we do not re-dip the spatula back into the wax pot, so once it touches your skin it is disposed of. It eliminates any possibility bacteria, hair or secretions being transferred back into the wax pot and reapplied on to you or the next client . This insures the safest and most hygienic treatment for you.

Using the award winning waxperts wax we will give you the best waxing experience available.There are two types of wax. Hot wax; used on the face, underarm and bikini. Hot wax is especially suited for sensitive skin. It gives a better finish and a more pain free wax, especially on the bikini area. Strip wax; is used on the legs, back and arms. We offer all types of body waxing from brows to Brazilians! If there is hair we are there!

The Standard Bikini
This is a modest bikini wax, most suitable for your Bridget Jones" underwear!

This is a tighter wax, more suitable for high cut underwear or swimming costume.

The Californian
Not quite a Brazilian, leaves some hair on the lips. Hair is also removed from the bum. Suitable for G-string underwear.

The Brazillian
Classic Brazilian wax, leaving a strip or a small triangle of hair on the front of bikini line. All the hair underneath on the lips/labia and bum is removed.

Hollywood with Swarovski crystal gem. Sparkle like a star. All gems are hypoallergenic, come in a variety of shapes and colours and last 3 to 5 days approximately.

Tips and Advice before your wax treatment

If you have never been waxed before please don’t be nervous, our team of therapists re fully trained and perform this service everyday so please don’t feel embarrassed in any way.
Lightly exfoliate the area before waxing.
Trim bikini hair to proxy 1 cm
As women tend to be more sensitive when premenstrual we recommend that you book your appointment after this time to ensure treatment is more comfortable for you.
Avoid coffee prior to the treatment as this stimulates the nervous system.

Tips and Advice after your waxing treatment

You must avoid hot showers, baths, saunas, steam rooms and UV exposure for 24 hours after your wax
You must avoid exercise or excessive perspiration
Wear loose cotton clothing for 12 to 24 hours
You cannot apply fake tan, deodorant or body creams (unless recommended ) over the area for 12 to 24 hours
You must exfoliate in between your wax
We also recommend that you refrain from shaving or using any hair removal creams between waxing services as this will interfere with the hair growth patterns and cause hair to become coarse in texture and may cause an increase of in growing hairs in the area.
