The Nanny Agency was created in 2016 by a Childcare enthusiast who strongly believes in the importance of all children been given the best care. Naomi Cullen doesn't just place Nannies with families. She finds people with a natural love for children and trains them to her standards before she places them with a suitable family.







Naomi spent all her free time as a teenager looking after children for neighbours and friends of friends. From a very young age all she wanted to do was work with children.

Naomi spent three years studying Childcare, Montessori Teaching, Advanced Montessori and Crèche Management in Dublin starting in 2004. From here she spent three years working in a crèche in Dublin looking after small babies from four months.




She then went to take a year out but found herself Nannying for families both in Sydney and Melbourne. It was then Naomi realised that she no longer wanted to work with children in a crèche setting as she enjoyed the freedom of taking the children outdoor and having time to do more creative activities with the children. She also has a strong passion for cooking and baking it and loved to be able to do these activities with the children in her care.

Upon returning from her travels she was asked to Nanny for a family who's friends had their children in the previous crèche she had worked in. Naomi spent two and a half years with this family until she found another family closer to her home. In this next position she was also with this family for two and a half years. During this time Naomi went to study as a Life and Business Coach as she as always had a passion for helping people move forward in their lives and figure out their values and beliefs. After qualifying she then did an extension to the course and trained in the specific area of Parent Coaching.

Naomi then moved to Cork to be near family and took a career change to work in the hospitality sector. Within a year Naomi was a manager in the Hotel and shortly was promoted to Bookings and Events Manager. With her strive for learning and interest in the behind the scenes running of a business she learnt the skills needed in running her business which was always on the cards for her.




In October 2016 Naomi followed her dream of volunteering with children abroad. Naomi spent two months in Vietnam working in Christina Nobles Sunshine Centre. A social and medical centre for children who are orphaned or from disadvantaged background. As volunteer leader she really enjoyed passing on her knowledge and passion for children on to the other volunteers. She was offered a full time position in the centre as volunteer coordinator but denied it as she wanted to get back to Ireland.




Since returning she has put all her love, talents and skills together to form Corks first Nanny Agency that offers training and support for her Nannies. While setting up her business she helped families in Cork in particular with sleep routines. After years of helping families She decided to also twin her interest and capabilities for helping parents who are finding certain aspects of parenting difficult by offering an add on parenting support service to her agency.
