The Irish Tobacco Company 2.3

Tabacco has been grown in Ireland throughout time but its most recent reincarnation began in 1895. Nugent Everard became the pioneering landowner of the Irish Tobacco industry. It was of such significance that it warrented a mention by James Joyce in Ulysses- " You can grow any mortal thing in Irish soil he stated, there is that Colonel Everard down there in Navan growing tobacco".The industry would have flourished had it not been for the politics of the time. At its peak, 1000 acres of tobacco were being grown in Ireland.

So 2016, two successful crops grown and cigars made from the cured tobacco. The Irish Tobacco Company is re-established.
