Company History

The Gluten Free Kitchen Company established itself in 2011 as a Market Stall selling fresh baked goods free from Gluten & Wheat using non processed ingredients. Soon after establishing ourselves, our private & trade orders started to pour in which led to a larger Kitchen premises which was located in an un-occupied fully equipped restaurant. Due to popular demand of our products The GFKC decided to take the next level and established ourselves as a temporary “Pop Up” Café, Deli and bakery retail establishment located in Co. Kerry in 2012.
Due to the popularity of the Cafe establishment the company extended the lease for a 2 year temporary leasehold of an already fitted out and vacant Restaurant Premises to develop the business model.

The GFKC established ourselves as a destination location with customers travelling from all parts of the country, UK, European Countries & as Far as The USA and Australia to try the first of its kind eatery that was dedicated to a certified safe eating environment for everyone especially allergy suffers.

In less than 12 months word spread and the concept began to win awards and accreditations from food critics and food affiliated award ceremonies and invitations to trade at Major Festivals & Expos.
Between 2011 & 2014 The GFKC fully developed its concept and today has developed a unique High Potential Investment Business Opportunity, Business Model.

The GFKC dedicated gluten & wheat free proposed chain of eateries is the first dedicated chain model of its kind Worldwide, making it the leading Brand of its kind.
The GFKC has a regular loyal customer base with its broad variety of certified Deli, Café, Bakery and pastry products. The company plans to build a strong market position nationally, and internationally, due to the partners' industry experience and the uniqueness of establishing itself as one of Europe’s first & Irelands only 100% Certified & Dedicated G&WF Full Eateries.
The GFKC aims to offer its products at a competitive price to meet the demand of the middle-to higher-income market area customers and tourists whom have been travelling far and wide to sample our award winning fayre & delicious gluten and wheat free food, Irish owned Artisan Barista Coffee and “home baked” desserts made in our in house bakery.
In 2014, The GFKC launched its range of Gourmet Deli Products at Electric Picnic (Irelands leading Music Festival with a daily passing Trade of 20,000 festival attendees and staff) which was a huge success with customers whom didn’t realise they were even eating a gluten free product and purchased our product from the quality presentation they were supplied with. The launch of the Deli at EP was the first certified g&wf Gourmet Sandwich/ bap & wrap launched in Ireland. Since attending Electric Picnic last September we have received further invitations to Bloom, Killarney Food Festival, Body & Soul Music Festival, Listowel Food Festival, Electric Picnic & Dingle Food Festival, Wellfest & many more as a result.

Our Production Kitchen which is located in Kerry produce Quality Artisan Produce for direct sales and our trade customers.
