The Den 3.23

Ruth Molony aged 29 and Kate Molony aged 24 are sisters from Cashel and both run The Den-After School Club in Cashel Rugby Club. This year is The Den’s fifth successful year in operation in Cashel and in September 2013 the girls opened their second After School Club in Thurles which has proven very successful. The Den in Thurles is located in the Presentation Sports Complex. Both Ruth and Kate went to school in the Ursuline Convent, Thurles and in 2013 both girls qualified as Montessori Teachers and are now opening The Den Montessori School in September 2014. The Den Montessori is located in Fort Aengus Tennis Club, Racecourse Cross Cashel. Ruth & Kate are heavily involved in the community and have a keen and active interest in sport. They were involved in setting up and playing with the newly formed Cashel/New Inn Hockey Club in 2010. This year the girls have extended the club by setting up an under 12’s and under 14’s hockey team. The girls are also involved in running Tag Rugby for girls in Cashel Rugby Club each week. To date the girls have successfully run The Den Camps- Halloween, Christmas, Spring, Easter and Summer Camps. The girls have also ventured into organising Birthday Parties and Corporate/Club fun days which have proved very popular. An example of some events The Den have been involved in:

-Ranbaxy Sponsored Family Day
Both girls are Garda Vetted and are looking forwarded to spreading their wings to work with pre-school aged children in September.
