The Connacht Hotel is a family friendly hotel and has all you need for a break away with the kids. From supervised kids club, extensive leisure facilities, family rooms, family suites or self-catering apartments, we understand that its not only a break for the family but also a break for you. The Kids Club has looked after many children from 3-15 years in its some 30 years - so rest assured, they know what they are doing. Parents or guardians are very welcome to accompany children under 3 years and use the facilities of the play room. The club opens most weekends and during all school holidays from 9.30am-1pm & 6pm-10pm. All the activities are carefully chosen by our highly experienced Friendly Fellows Team to ensure that children have the very best experience in a safe and secure environment.

There is a lot on offer to corporate visitors and guests also. The Connacht Hotel offers a range of purpose built conference rooms in the corporate wing of the hotel, with capacities ranging from 120 delegates to smaller conference rooms, ideal for boardroom style meetings. High speed WiFi, projector and screen, flip-charts, water, stationery and mints are included as standard. Complimentary parking is also available for all visitors. Break options are carefully considered to offer great value and a healthy selection of break options are available. All our meeting rooms are attended by our dedicated conference team, who can make sure that all your requirements are looked after to ensure a smooth meeting with us.

If we have the pleasure of having you as our guest you can enjoy all the facilities at Active Fitness Leisure Club located on the hotel grounds at no extra charge. Relax in our 20 metre swimming pool, melt away the stress in the sauna and relieve the tensions in our heated jacuzzi. Afterwards head over to Bar Solo - the lively hotel bar is popular with guests and locals alike, and is the ideal venue for a relaxing evening drink followed by a scrumptuous meal created with locally sourced produce. A purpose-built cocktail bar enhances the holiday spirit in the hotel with a range of freshly made cocktails created by the in house mixologist.
