A Brief Snapshot:
The Central enjoys a central setting in the busy town of Navan and is surrounded by historical attractions and amenities. The premises was purchased by Michael and Tara Gavigan in 2012 and extensively refurbished. They previously owned and ran the Loft Restaurant in Navan which opened in 1995, the Ground Floor Restaurant in Kells and the Side Door Restaurant in Cavan. Michael’s grandfather, Pat Fitzsimons, owned and ran Fitzsimons’ pubs on the square Navan from 1928 and Trimgate Street, Navan, which is still run and owned by the family. Michael’s grandmother Margaret owned and ran The Tara Restaurant on Ludlow Street, Navan. Michael’s parents met for the first time at The Tara a long time ago....
