The South of Ireland language centre, was established in 1969 and its courses are organised at the Cork Institute of Technology. As a family run business, we have more than 40 years of experience in providing quality English language courses to students of all nationalities.

Learning English in a native environment and cultural immersion in an English speaking country is the most effective way to improve one’s English. All of our programmes require that students live with host families where English is the mother tongue. In many cases, other students of a different nationality will stay in the same host family.

The activities at our school are designed to immerse students in all aspects of our unique Irish culture.
