One of the very top performing Connemara ponies on the European circuit, Shadow has excelled at the highest levels of competition in Ireland, Sweden, and Italy.

We are very pleased to announce the return to Ireland of Silver Shadow.

This great stallion that has done the Connemara pony breed some unbelievable achievements, a European team pony in 2010, competing in Moorsele in Belgium and Aachen in Germany before being sold to the famous Kolgjini family in Sweden who are one of the best trotting racing trainers in Europe. Silver now comes back to Ireland at a time when the “Connemara’s” are at a low ebb and where performance pedigree is now required to establish the breed as a top performance pony once again.

It has been made possible to bring him back thanks to the joint venture of Former Owner and Vet Philip McManus, Galway and Liam Diamond, Renvyle, exporter of Top Class Connemara Performance Ponies to Sweden.
Silver Shadow has bred top class Performance Ponies in Italy, Ireland, and Sweden with “Willwood Silver” 2013 Champion at Hoys. “Doon Laddie” winner in 2014 of the HIS Fontainebleau 1.30mt class. “Black Shadow” an R.D.S. winner and many more top class performers.

The stallion is available for AI at the Philip McManus Veterinary Centre, Rockmount, Claregalway.
