At Shooting Stars After School Care we want to ensure that every child’s time with us is enriching and FUN! Through our child centred approach we aim to promote each child’s development and meet learning needs through games and activites. Maria Montesorri says ‘Play is the work of the child’ and Albert Einstein regarded play as ‘The highest form of research’. At Shooting Stars we recognise the importance of play and how various forms of play are beneficial at different stages in a child’s day. In the form of planned, themed activites, child led play and opportunities for rest and relaxation we provide a fun filled time in a safe and stimulating environment.
