Just north of Horn Head, large amounts of big game fish including Tope, Blue Shark, Portbeagle Shark, Six Gilled Shark and Bluefin Tuna are attracted by schools of fish.
The sandy bottom of Skate Bay is prime hunting ground for flatties such as Skate, Dab, Flounder, Plaice and Rays.
The many rich reefs in Sheephaven Bay are alive with Wrasse, Pollock, Ling, Gurnard and Cod
