SGC Dungarvan has been at the forefront of cinema technology since we opened in 2005 being the first cinema in Ireland to convert to full digital projection. The first cinema outside Dublin to have 3D projection, we have brought live in HD, Opera, Theatre, Concerts and Musicals from around the world to your doorstep. This year we have brought live Ballet in 3D and plan to bring many more sports and cultural events for our customers to watch. SGC Dungarvan selected Sony to supply an end-to-end solution capable of providing viewers with a superior visual experience. The Sony Digital Cinema 4K projection system used for the screening is comprised of Sony SRX 320 4K Projector’s and RealD 3D lenses.
