1986–1990
Fashion Shop in Irish Design Centre Powerscourt Dublin
Experience:
• Designing & manufacturing two collections/year for the Irish Design Centre
• Styling and dressing models for photo shoots and fashion shows to showcase collections
• Creation of costumes set for Kate O’Toole in ‘The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant’ at Gate Theatre
• Designing stage and music video costumes for rock bands e.g. ‘Black Velvet Band’

1992–1994
Couture Dress making apprenticeship at The Couture House Of Stocker Zurich
Experience:
• Training to create exclusive custom-fitted ‘made to measure’ clothing for the Paris Couture collections of Valentino, Ungaro, Chanel & Armani.
• Producing ‘one-off’ high end fashion pieces for private clients to incl. detailed tailoring
• Constructing clothes by hand, made from high quality, expensive, unusual fabric and sewn with extreme attention to detail while being finished using time-consuming, hand-executed techniques
