Scoil Rince Chill Dara have trained dancers of all ages and levels for over 30 years, under the direction of Carmel Somers (A.D.C.R.G), Alan McCormack (T.C.R.G), Nicola McCormack (T.C.R.G) and Nick O'Connell (T.C.R.G).
As qualified teachers with An Comhdháil, we do our utmost to ensure that each child enjoys the many and varied aspects of Irish Dancing. Positive teaching methods are used to develop life skills such as self-confidence, discipline, concentration and listening skills, good sportsmanship and social interaction.
Students at our school participate in a curriculum geared to both competitive and recreational dancing, including the option to participate in Grading Diploma Examinations yearly, with classes being offered in both solo and team dancing. Students are trained to develop strength and endurance with emphasis on technique, style and posture.
We cater for every level of dancer from those that attend once a week for fun to those who attend several times a week for competitive dancing. We welcome boys and girls from three years of age upwards.
