Carnew National School is a Catholic school under the patronage of the Bishop of Ferns. It sets out to impart a good knowledge of the Catholic faith to its pupils and to help them respect our heritage and culture. While doing so it also aims to nurture a tolerance and understanding of other cultures, traditions and religious beliefs.
It is the objective of the school that all the partners in education involving management, principal, staff, pupils and parents should foster a spirit of partnership and co-operation for the good of the school. We strive to create a school environment where both teachers and pupils achieve a sense of fulfilment.
