Santa's Castle 2.78

This is the third year running that Dunsandle Castle has hosted Santa, his lovely wife Mrs. Claus and their merry Elves in the lead up to Christmas. The past two years have been a great success and helped to raise much needed funds for the Galway Simon Community.

A visit to Santa's Castle is an enchanting holiday experience for children and adults alike. The experience begins as soon as you arrive at the Castle, where you are met by the Head Elf who leads you and your family on a magical torchlit procession through the Castle woods. At the Castle you are greeted by the jolly Mrs. Claus in her kitchen, where she has sweets for the children and hot mulled wine for the adults which can be enjoyed while Mrs. Claus entertains you with Christmas stories and songs. Afterwards, you climb the medieval stone staircase to the Great Hall to meet and chat with Santa (who somehow knows all about each of the children!), and also receive a special Christmas gift, before descending to the Arts and Crafts Studio where the children can make Christmas cards and decorations.
