Welcome to my page. I am a sound engineer based in the County Meath, Kildare and Dublin areas. By using a professional quality mobile recording setup, I offer audio production services across the island of Ireland in the radio, music, sound design and animation production areas. Location recording is of the core service I offer and something I have specialised in by investing in high quality equipment which can bring the studio to you, which allows musicians to record their music in the comfort of a space they know and ultimately, which provides a high quality product.

In addition, by using my field recording equipment and my editing/mixing suite, projects can be produced and sent to clients without them having to travel to the studio. This allows for quick draft auditions and final mix transfers to and from the client and the engineer. More information about the services I provide can be found further down this page. If you would like to get in touch with me, please click here to send an email.

I am a graduate of Ballyfermot College of Further Education in Dublin (Higher National Diploma in Music Production), the Sonic Arts Research Centre in Belfast (Bachelor of Science in Music Technology and Sonic Arts) and the MediaCityUK branch of the University of Salford (Master of Science in Audio Production). Further information about my qualifications and experience can be found by heading over to my LinkedIn page by clicking here.

In 2014, I undertook an original research project to critically compare multi-microphone surround sound recording techniques with the Soundfield system. You can read the dissertation here. I have further interests in hearing health, which is under threat as our world gets louder. I wrote a piece for TheJournal.ie in 2014 which aims to raise awareness of hearing damage, which can be read here.
