Rainy Day Sessions 2.27

The rainy day sessions was set up in 2013 by irish button accordion player Gerard Chambers. After two and a half years busking on and off on the streets of Galway , Gerard asked himself, where do all the Buskers play when its raining and how can we get the same audience we had stopping to enjoy our music on shop street to come and listen to us beside a nice warm fire with a pint of "whatever your having yourself" when the weather is too bad to play outside .So the RAINY DAY SESSIONS gives the audience a chance to listen to the beautiful traditional music the west of Ireland has to offer as well as music from all over the world performed by traveling musicians.
It also gives the musicians a space to share their music on the wet,mishty,showery,shlobbery windy days that we are blessed with here in Ireland .
