What happens when I bring my dog to be groomed !!The dog is assessed with the owner and a cut is discussed and agreed. Factors including temperament, coat condition ,medical conditions and whether the dog sleeps indoors or outside are taken into consideration . The weather and seasons are also a factor to consider .All dogs are washed with s choice of shampoos including Tea Tree, Natural ,Whitening and Flea repellant . The anal glands are expressed (if required ).The coat is blasted semi dry with the Mega Blaster ,one of the most powerful dryers in the business . This process removes dirt ,dander and dead old coat from the dog .It reduces shedding and improves the condition of the coat and skin .There is a lower setting for nervous dogs and puppies . They are then placed in the cabin dryer , where they can sleep and relax while Luke warm air finishes drying the coat . This avoids having to use a handheld dryer on the sensitive face and feet of the dog . They are supervised constantly while in the dryer,and most dogs enjoy a nice sleep and some down time during this time ! They are then placed on the table and a silicone conditioning spray is used . This makes the cost easier to brush , repels dirt and leaves a lovely shiny silky coat . Finally the coat is clipped / scissored according to customers wishes . Nails are cut , ears plucked / cleaned and a finishing spray used to freshen and condition the coat . The owner then collects their pampered pooch ,and tries to keep them clean before their next appointment !!
