Oceans of Discovery, Diving & Marine Education 2.92

Oceans of Discovery was founded by David Quinlan. Growing up in shadow Cork Harbour, he has a great appreciation for the fascinating marine world which lies on our doorstep. His work as a Marine Biologist and dive professional across the world over the past decade, has greatly fueled his desire to share his passion with others. We aim to provide training and education in a fun filled safe environment, with students learning at their own pace.

Dive Training:
Ever wondered what it would be like to breath under water or what amazing wildlife lies beneath the waves? We will be offering a wide range of PADI diving courses and experiences from our base @ Funkytown Adventure Center. From taster morning/afternoon Discover SCUBA Diving sessions, to fully certified PADI certified courses (such as PADI Open Water, PADI Scuba Diver, PADI Advanced Open Water, EFR and PADI Rescue Diver). All courses run by a fully qualified PADI Instructor, with brand new equipment.

Education:
Oceans of Discovery will be operating a mobile Educational campaign from September onwards. The aim is to run a series of interactive workshops for transition years and interested groups across the region. We aim to inspire people from across the region to the incredible diversity and potential of our marine world. Workshops can be tailor made for specific groups, to include a combination of the following: Marine Education Workshops, Discover SCUBA Diving Experience & Emergency First Responder training (Certified).
