What services are offered?
A play therapy and art psychotherapist is someone who is trained to help children and adolescent with some kind of problem in their lives.

The Naas Family & Play Therapy Centre offers therapeutic supports to children, adolescent and families.
Play and Art Psychotherapy allows children and adolescent the opportunity to explore and express difficult feelings and experiences.

Play therapy/Art Psychotherapy assists children who have difficulties in:

• Bereavement
• Separation/loss.
• Lack of Self Esteem
• Bullying Issues
• Relationship Issues
• School Related Issues
• Anger Management
• Depression/Anxiety
• Conflict in the Home
• Managing Difficult Behaviour.
• Managing Stress
• Building resilience & coping skills

Group Work offered in the following areas;

Parenting Programmes- Focusing on Mindful Parenting and helping you to get into a positive pattern of parenting.

Co-operative Parenting after separation- shielding your child from conflict.

Parent/child work to build attachment

Group work for children/adolescent who have experienced separation.

Building Self-Esteem through creative arts.

Group work for children /adolescent presenting with anxiety.

Group Work to develop social skills.

Group Work to build resilience and coping skills.

The groups are kept small to ensure there is enough time and space for everyone and run over an six/eight week period.


Family Therapy offered to help and support individuals, couples and families who are experiencing difficulties.
