Making art, in the company of a caring therapist, can be healing and life enhancing. You can gain a deep understanding of your inner world and access feelings that are difficult to express in words. Art therapy has been described as fun, gentle and relaxing, while also being a powerful, enlightening and deeply touching experience.

People attend art therapy for many reasons including; grief, trauma, relationship or family difficulties, inner child work, abuse, attachment trauma, adoption... or a general feeling or wish to achieve freedom and self actualization in life.

Michelle Gunning is an Art Psychotherapist with an MA qualification from Crawford College of Art and Design, CIT, Cork. Michelle also has training, research and experience in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy CTC, Pre and Perinatal Psychotherapy, Doula/Birth Support, Spiritual Healing and Group Leadership.

Michelle offers individual and group therapy, works with adults, children and adolescents and also offers training to other professionals in self care and supporting survivors of mother perpetrated sexual abuse.
