MEADOW LODGE FISHERY HAS THREE
LAKES .

THE '' SMALL'' LAKE .

That is suited to the beginner angler and the match / pole angler , with a good head of Carp up too 6 lb . There is also Tench Golden Tench and Koi , but be warned there is one double figured Carp in it that has so far avoided the net

THE COARSE OR '' MIDDLE LAKE '' .

Has good shoals of Rudd , Roach Bream Hybrid Tench and Carp all too specimen sizes. And also holds Perch Golden Tench and Koi .
Its a lake that can be best described as fishing a wild lake , with fish fighting very hard and when the float dips it could possibly be a PB.
Its also a great lake to introduce yourself to Carp fishing .

THE CARP SPECIMEN LAKE .

Is a lake for the advanced and experienced Carp angler . With the biggest Carp in Ireland '' Big Hole '' been one of its prized fish with her highest weight recorded at 41 lb 3 oz's . There is also plenty of other lumps to pursue with some high and low 30 's , a good head of high and low 20's and many doubles . There is also some beautiful Koi and some large Tench .
The lake itself can be described as well a '' ball breaker '' to be honest . Testing your angling skills and patience to the max . But when the alarm goes and the fight begins , you will feel its all worth while when you see a lump at the bottom of your net .
