About Us:
Welcome to McHughs Allcare Pharmacy in Athy. Here at McHughs, we have been serving the needs of the Athy community since 1894. We are Irish owned and centrally located within walking distance of most of the local GP surgeries, St Vincent’s Hospital and dental practices. Our patients are the central focus of our pharmacy and we can look after all your prescription needs including unusual and HiTech medication. Our local pharmacy team are here to make life easier for you by offering a wide range of pharmacy advice and products including nutritional supplements, vitamins, cosmetics, skincare, sun safety, weight management and small animal veterinary. We have a resident Emergency Medical Technician who would be happy to advise you on all matters relating to first aid. We have a wide range of skincare and cosmetic ranges to suit all budgets including Vichy and La Roche Posay so feel free to drop in for a complimentary skincare consultation. Our baby range covers NUK, Tommee Tippee and Dr Browns and we are well known locally for our tailor-made hamper baskets.
In early 2014 , we were delighted to welcome on board our resident beautician and Herbalife Distributor Kay O’Doherty who occupies our tranquil treatment rooms. Tucked inside the front of our store is our popular nail bar manned by in-house nail technician Martina, our expert in supplying great value relaxing shellac manicures. Our comprehensive photo kiosk will develop your photos instantly from all types of multimedia including Facebook, Instagram, Flickr and Dropbox and we also take passport photos.
