Marlay Park Markets 3.45

Marlay Park Markets are eight years old, having been launched in April 2004.

On Saturdays, we host over 30 stalls, ranging from fresh fish, free-range meat, farm fresh eggs, organic fruit and vegetables, traditional Irish and French baked goods, gluten-free bread, fresh oysters, Italian grocery, seasonal soft fruit, fresh bread baked throughout the day, breakfast meats, olives, Toonsbridge buffalo mozzarella, muffins, and beverages. A delicious selection of hot food complements the grocery selection, ensuring that customers linger for hours, enjoying the atmosphere and availing of the many picnic benches so they can get comfortable.

On Sundays, an eclectic mix of hot food, baked goods and sweet treats for all the family animates the courtyard, catering to the crowds that come into the park to avail of its many amenities. Choose between crepes, Thai food, New York style Italian sausages, quiches, hot savoury pies with mashed potatoes, or the fabulous Dave's sourdough pizza. Dessert? Homemade cupcakes? Handmade chocolates? Brownies? Cookies? Something for everyone.

At both markets, customers queue for the best coffee, often preceeded by a healthy raw vegetable juice or fruit smoothie.
