Lyons Cafe is the place if you like home-made goodies. Everything, including cakes, pastries, bread and Lyons’ famous scones are made in the kitchens – not a packet to be seen! Raspberry bakewell, black cherry cake, pear tart, chocolate brownies, mixed berry and mango crumble are just some of the temptations available to hungry shoppers at any time of the day.
At lunchtime there is a wide and changing menu which includes a carvery, vegetarian options and other daily specials. The Café is particularly famous for its lamb and pine nut burgers with feta cheese, its quiches, home-made soups and salmon. There is always an option suitable for celiacs, including gluten-free soup, and there are baps and sandwiches made from the Café’s own multi-grain bread. Choose from an extensive range of coffees.
