Lough Mardal Lodge is a lakeside ecotourism destination situated on the Wild Atlantic Way in South Donegal, Ireland due to open summer 2018.

On a 90-acre setting of wild, unspoiled natural beauty Lough Mardal Lodge will offer escape, tranquility and complete immersion in nature with luxury yurt glamping accommodation on the shore of Lough Mardal. A uniquely designed roundhouse Eco Lodge will provide a social and activity hub presenting a homely hang-out space with big open fire and beautiful views as well as offering courses, workshops and wellness retreats.

Whether it be on-site swimming, kayaking, fishing, going on a scenic hike or following an intimate nature trail. Or having the perfect base from which to take part in all the adventure activities on our doorstep - great surf, scuba-diving, hikes and cycling. Or simply just kick-back in comfort at Lough Mardal Lodge and recharge in wild, tranquil and beautiful surroundings.

You are invited to come on a great outdoor adventure, come glamping in the wild West of Ireland and sleep underneath the stars, do something that little bit different and go home feeling recharged and alive.

But for now, building is underway. From family homestead complete with donkeys, chickens, dogs, cats and twin toddlers to finally cutting the ribbon, the project's progress and evolution will be shared here for those who wish to follow it.
