Little Luxuries from Home

What do we do?

We are a:
1) a shopping service for Irish people living overseas who want goods (clothes, shoes, cosmetics, food, etc) from Ireland &
2) a gift service to help Irish people overseas to purchase gifts and post them to family or friends in Ireland.

Our service is designed to make our overseas customers feel like they can pop back to Ireland for a quick shop before heading back to the sun with your Penneys handbag, River Island top and a stash of Cadbury's.

It is also designed to take pain out of the last minute dash to the shop and post office to ensure you don't miss the last post to Ireland for your Dad's birthday!

We want to help people who have friends and family overseas send gifts to their loved ones overseas.

We can do it all for you...send gifts all wrapped up and with a handwritten card...whatever you need, just let us know and we'll do our utmost to help.


Things to note:
1) All our international mail is registered.
2) All our packs come gift wrapped...even if you are buying for yourself.
3) We charge €25 for personal shopping (incl international postage up to 2kg...generally 8 items or clothes).
4) For gifts we charge €25 per address you are posting to (this includes postage up to 2kg).
5) We put together custom gift packs...send us your budget and who you want to buy for and we'll put a pack together for your approval.


House Rules

We ask the people on our page to do their part and comply with the rules below for posts, uploads, communications and general behaviour on this page. In the spirit of openness, it’s worth highlighting that if a post breaks these rules, it will may be deleted.
1. Keep it clean: no indecent or otherwise inappropriate posts or uploads.
2. Play fair: no defamatory, obscene, threatening, dangerous or abusive posts.
3. No personal attacks: don’t attack people with extreme language or personal attacks. It stops conversation and can hurt people.
4. Stay on topic: no spam, unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, nor repeated postings of unconstructive, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable comments.
5. Be original: feel free to share video content, pictures, links, photographs and text if you have rights to it – if you don’t own it or have permission, don’t post it.
6. Mind your own business: don’t invade other’s privacy or publicity rights and don’t give out personal information.
7. Keep it legal: no unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or deceptive posts.
8. Be responsible: Children under the age of 13 should not post comments without the permission of their parents or guardians
9. Do the right thing: ensure all posts comply with this site’s terms of use.

Facebook Competition - Terms & Conditions

1. The Promoter is Little Luxuries from Home trading as Little Luxuries from Home, Thurles Chamber Enterprise Centre, LIT Campus, Nenagh Road, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, Ireland (“the Promoter”);

2. Competition details, including when entries open and close (“Competition Period’); what is required to send a valid entry; and the prizes are described in the competition post inviting entry on the Facebook page. To enter, the Entrant must comment during the Competition Period. If a competition post includes any detail that is not consistent with these terms and conditions then the detail in the competition post will prevail;

3. Entry is open to residents of Australia, Ireland, New Zealand who have a Facebook account and are aged 18 years and over (“Entrant”);

4. The Promoter will judge all entries on creativity and suitability to determine the winner. All decisions are at the discretion of the Promoter. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner;

5. The prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash;

6. The prize winner will have their details published on the Little Luxuries from home Facebook Page. The prize winner will also be notified under their entry comment within 24 hours after the competition closes and the winner must then contact the Promoter via Facebook private message. The prize must be claimed by the winner within 14 days of the Promoter announcing the competition results. In the event that a winner fails to claim their prize by responding to the Promoter’s post the prize will be forfeited and the entry judged to be the next best will be offered the prize.

7. Entry is unlimited. Entrants can enter as many times as they wish.

8. This Competition is in no way sponsored or endorsed or administered by Facebook. Any information provided by an entrant is provided to the Promoter and not to Facebook. Entrants release Facebook from all liability in relation to the Competition.
