Letterkenny Educate Together N.S 3.26

Letterkenny Educate Together National School opened its doors in 2005 with 30 pupils enrolled. Today we are proud to say that our school has grown and we now have an enrolment of over 230 pupils.

We are located on an easily accessible central site in Letterkenny. Like all National Schools, our school is:

- governed by the Rules for National Schools
- run by a Board of Management
- staffed by teachers who meet the qualifications standard by the DES
and Committed to delivering the Primary School Curriculum.

The Educate Together Charter commits us to establish schools that follow these core principles: Multi-denominational; Co-educational; Child centred; Democratically run.

Educate Together schools teach to the highest quality academic standards through an ethos that guarantees every child equality of esteem, regardless of their social, cultural or religious background. Educate Together operates 74 multi-denominational primary schools around the country. The growth in the Educate Together school network continues to be driven by parental demand.

In addition to opening and operating primary schools, Educate Together is actively involved in the development of education at second-level in Ireland. Our first second-level schools open in 2014 at Ballymakenny College, Co. Louth, Hansfield ETSS in Dublin 15 and Kishoge Community College, Lucan, Co. Dublin.
