Kilshanna Music, Arts and Drama Studio 2.82

The Kilshanna Music School was established in Kilshanna, in September 1998, by Pearl Robinson. The school moved to 9 King Street in January 2000. When Kilshanna Music School opened originally it focused mainly on Piano lessons but soon developed in other disciplines to become Kilshanna Music & Drama Studio.

The Kilshanna Music School has maintained a reputation for excellence since its establishment in 1998. This year, a number of students form Kilshanna have been nominated for The Leinster School of Music, Arts & Drama Excellence Awards, a tribute to the high standard of tutelage that the school offers. Ciara Sheehan, Jack Corbett and Mairead Coughlan, Molly O'Mahony, Kate Anne Fenton, Gary Fitzgerald, Sarah O'Callaghan and Ella Rose Whelan, were awarded 1st and 2nd prizes respectively in the National Leinster School Excellence Award in recent years along with a number of special commended piano an singing students in the recent finals.

Kilshanna teachers cover the Leinster School of Music & Drama, Royal Irish Academy, London College of Music and Associated Board examinations.
