Hosted by the Kildare Hunt Club ltd and run by a hunt sub-committee. The show is staged at the home of Irish steeplechase racing; Punchestown Racecourse, the show is held annually in March to find Ireland's finest hunt horse. There are three classes, "Huntsman" - jumping obstacles approx 130cm high followed by "Hunter" and "Sidesaddle" both classes jumping obstacles approx 100cm high. Obstacles include gates, stud rails, hedges, banks, drains and wire. Entries are limited in each class and are only taken on line, individual start times are given to riders approx a week before the show.
