Kidzstuff Preschool 2.48

The goals and objectives of Kidzstuff were a result of my search as a working mother to find a suitable childcare environment for my children. Services available at that time, I considered to be of quite a low standard. It was my feeling that children and parents in the area could and should be offered better services. At this point I researched requirements and regulations regarding childcare and found most of the services offered were not compliant. Following consultations with the then EHB (HSE), the Irish Pre-school and Playgroup association, the National Childcare Nurseries Association and the Health and Safety Authority, I founded Kidzstuff.
The goals and objectives of Kidzstuff are to provide the best possible care, child friendly and a 'home from home' activity based environment for the children thus giving parents the security and peace of mind needed.
Kidzstuff was established in April 1994. Initially opening in a rented private dwelling in Celbridge, a small business to service the community's growing childcare needs. Due to the increasing and overwhelming demand for its services, larger and more suitable premises were sought.
In April 1997, the opportunity to lease purpose built creche facilities at Aghards House, Thornhill, Celbridge on a short term three year lease arose. Following successful negotiations on this three year lease, Kidzstuff's new premises enabled commencement of services to those previously held on its waiting list. These new premises also permitted the development of both an ECCE and Playgroup service. During these past years, the service has grown from strength to strength thanks to the loyalty of the parents and children past and present.
