Learn to surf with iSurfIreland, Sligo’s newest surf school. We offer premium surfing and bodyboarding lessons seven days a week at Strandhill Beach on the edge of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. iSurfIreland is owned and operated by lifelong Strandhill surfers Eddie Moran and Seamus Mc Goldrick who together have twelve years of coaching experience.

Our friendly and highly experienced team are family friendly, beginner friendly and also cater for more experienced surfers. Our lessons last two hours, just bring a towel and swimming gear, iSurfIreland provides all the necessary surf equipment with changing facilities and hot showers for after. Surf lessons start with a short walk to the beach where the basics of surfing are explained and demonstrated by your qualified instructor. Then, it is time to get in the ocean and experience the thrill of catching your first wave.

All our beginner lessons take place in waist depth water and are delivered in a safe, structured and fun way.

iSurfIreland Summer S’Cool camps are available June, July and August, and during mid-terms and school holidays and are personally supervised by head instructors Seamus Mc Goldrick and Eddie Moran. Minimum age for surfing camps is 8 years old.

Our Monday to Friday (10.00 am – 1 pm) package includes surfing and bodyboarding, beach games, eco-walks, water safety and ocean awareness and, of course, lots of fun in the ocean.The aim of the iSurfIreland S’Cool camps is to change behaviour towards the water and ensure each student leaves with lifelong ocean awareness and water safety.
