Irish Inflatable Hirers Federation (IIHF) 2.56

The IIHF represents Inflatable Hirers who set out to provide a professional, safe and reputable service for customers by providing quality Inflatables and who promote best practice safety standards and who are insured for public liability.

The IIHF's vision is to be recognised as the body that represents professional inflatable hirers in Ireland.

As part of this vision we want to:
* Promote best practice
* Improve General safety
* Create a sharing forum of ideas that helps build best practice
* Build a professional body of Hirers that can influence change in the Industry
* Proactively develop policies guiding us to self regulation

As part of our service, our website provides a listing of IIHF members in the section 'Hirers in your Area'.

We proactively promote best practice amongst our members. When you hire an inflatable, you should always check the following with the Hirer:

* Does the Hirer have insurance?
* Is the Hirer Reliable (Will they turn up)?
* Is the Inflatable clean and fresh?
* Can the Hirer gain access to the inflatable site (especially relevant if you have hired a large inflatable)?
* Are the electrical cables, plugs and sockets of good quality?
* Has the Hirer secured the inflatable properly to the ground with steel pegs?
* Has the Hirer minimised the possibility of trip hazards?
