Following a serious hunting accident last December, Wicklow native Donal O'Beirne has taken the bit between his teeth and embarked in a new career path which will focus on safety for both horse and rider. His new business, Hoofprints Innovations is a centre of excellence exhibition roadshow unit, which will allow riders to see for themselves the latest products, fit them and if they choose purchase them. The unit will be attending major events in Ireland, the UK and near Europe and will be bringing Innovative new product design to the market.

“The Concept arose from my long deliberations in hospital last Christmas after a near fatal hunting accident and recovery time after surgery. Before my accident, I had this care-free “making madness a way of life” attitude on horseback, albeit while minding the horse I did not necessarily mind myself. The consequences of not equipping yourself properly are profound – it is the others you impact. There are ways to safeguard you and your loved ones by minimising risk and by optimizing your performance for you and your horse. The confidence is won by embracing modern Equestrian product

Donal and his new business idea has got overwhelming support from all sides of the Industry - From the leading Experts in Safety and Innovation like William Micklem and product safety companies wanting to show the world their greatest and best new Innovations.

“I have received backing from all these companies, who want to see their new products in the hands of customers as opposed to on websites. I am promoting and supporting Irish Inventors who want to soapbox their ideas at my stand and have frequent guest Equestrian presenters lined up to join me to informate, educate and get feedback. Then unit will be making its first appearance at Ballindenisk International this weekend”.
