Glennan Presbyterian Church 2.8

Glennan is one congregation part of a 'double charge'. The fellowship of Ballyalbany Church is linked with us, sharing Stephen McNie as their minister & teaching elder.

The purpose of this church shall be to glorify God in everything that we do and in all that we are.

Our fellowship is a worshipping community in which we want to know and experience the power of God in our lives (Up Reach). We seek to attain this through the public worship of God and the preaching of the Scriptures.

Our fellowship is committed to tell as many people as possible in our local community about the perfect person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ (Out Reach). The good news of the gospel is about Jesus who came into a sinful world to save people who acknowledge Him as Saviour and worship Him as Lord.

Our fellowship desires to bring people into a saving relationship with God and then enter into a loving relationship with God's people (In Reach). A relationship with God can be reflected by the relationship we have with God's people - we want to develop genuine and lasting fellowship among our people through accountability and encouragement.

Our fellowship seeks to equip each member grow deeper in their faith and love for Jesus (Down Reach). The Word of God (the Bible) is central in what we do and believe - through teaching, prayer and Bible study we want to build up each person so that they can serve Jesus wholeheartedly in the world.
