Okay, so to start, I am a Scotsman living in Ireland. My family name is Fraser (a good Highland Clan name). I found myself moving from a catering background into photography, even though I successfully studied to MSc level in Risk Management. What is the point in doing something you find you don't find fulfillment in right? So my Wife allowed me to venture into photography, well she let me invest in the equipment. And several years down the road, here I am, being requested to capture and create images for others. And it is a joy, fulfilling and a pleasure. I love it, I love the fun with the client, I love the retouching and creativity.
What is my goal? Well simply put, I want to enjoy the photography I do, whilst assisting clients to succeed. I want to empower through photography and retouching, clients to market effectively. I’ll do this by engaging you and directing you instead of posing you. I’m after images that show you full of life, not vacant stares and the deer in the headlight look. If you don’t like to pose for the camera, you’ve definitely found the right photographer! A few facts about my sessions: I may not be the lowest bidder, but I get the job done right the first time. You get images that have personality, warmth, and most importantly, the quality you need to help with your marketing needs.
I get that I provide a service, that you’re paying for that service, and whatever you say goes, with my expert input of course! You may or may not have that much experience in front of the camera. No matter what your level of experience is, I’m really good at having fun with you, whilst directing you, putting you at ease, and coaxing your personality to the light!
If we’re travelling to your office, we are considerate and mindful of your environment and work as stealthily as possible! No god-complexes here, need I say more? I take pride in knowing that you will leave your session having had a positive experience.
I’ve been into photography for a number of years and retouching portrait and beauty photographs for the last four years. My work has definitely evolved over the years and I find myself compelled to make portraits and beauty shots look as realistic as possible. If you are looking for the skin softened, plastic look, I am not your man. But if you want shots that show you as you on your best day, I am your man. I now photograph across Ireland and I am willing to travel further afield. My clients include all kinds of people, from models, executives, and the occasional person interested in getting portraits that they can remember themselves by when as they age.
