The Edmund Rice Summer Camps were established in Waterford in 2000 and have been growing ever since. The camp is run completely though donations by leaders between the ages of 17 and 25. These camps are unique in that for each child there is an adult leader to give them the attention they need to acquire new skills and develop the ones they already have. The camps are run from the Mount Sion GAA Centre and are completely free of charge for the children involved.
Children are collected by bus each morning and brought to the centre where they have breakfast, play games, sing songs, eat lunch and also go on day trips and attend work shops. We really need the support of the community to keep these camps going so please like and share!
