We are a family business run by father and son, we are based in Ballyhack Co-Wexford and Woodstown Co-Waterford.
We began as a sole trader in 2001 and by 2002 we were producing 2,574kg of Gigas oysters.
By 2003 we were producing 2,600kg,
and 2004 was 11,426kg.
In 2012 we first produced 6tonne of "Specials" oysters for the French market, increasing to 30,000kg by 2013.
Today we have 100,000kg +
In November of 2013 we formed a company, called Deise Premium Aquaculture and expect to increase production of both half-grown and "Specials" in 2014.
