Dance Course in SCFE 2.34

This full-time course offers learners an opportunity to pursue a career in dance, theatre and entertainment, covering a wide range of dance subjects. Learners are supported and encouraged throughout the course to develop their individual artistic talents through dance classes, choreography, performance and musical theatre.

The focus is on building a comprehensive knowledge of technique and performance skills, encouraging the learner to work to a higher level and increase their opportunities to progress as a professional dancer.

Learners who successfully complete a QQI Level 5 Certificate may be able to use their results to progress to related Level 7 and Level 8 Degree Programmes. Former learners have progressed to Irish and international universities. In Ireland this includes the B.A. (Hons) in Irish Music and Dance and the B.A. (Hons) in Voice and Dance in the University of Limerick.
