Croghan Organic Garden 2.39

Croghan Organic Garden was established in 1998 as a centre for education in Organic Horticulture.

We currently deliver the organic horticulture component of a full time VTOS course. This course is certified at FETAC level 5 and equips students with the skills to find employment in horticulture or to embark on further training in higher education. We would like to acknowledge the support and co-operation of Roscommon VEC, particularly Donal Farrell, Boyle VTOS Co-ordinator.
We have also continued to deliver part time FETAC certified courses to local participants with the support of the Further Education Unit under the Back To Education Initiative.

Our top quality produce is freshly picked and supplied on the same day to a number of local outlets, both shops and restaurants. It can also be purchased direct from the garden, just come and select it yourself with the helpful guidance of our friendly staff.


During the summer of 2012 we erected three new tunnels to expand our training facilities and increase our productivity. If you would like to become one of our regular customers and have our produce delivered to your premises, please call us and we would be delighted to discuss availability with you.
