Cork University Hospital, abbreviated as CUH, is a university teaching hospital in Ireland. It is operated by the Health Service Executive. The hospital is located in Wilton in the south-western suburbs of Cork. CUH officially opened in November 1978, and was known then as Cork Regional Hospital. The hospital primarily treats patients from Cork and Kerry which have a combined population of more than 620,000.
