Cork International Choral Festival 4.6

As one of Europe's premier choral festivals, Cork is noted for its world-class Gala performances and its high competitive standard. Each year some of the finest amateur international choirs are selected to compete for the prestigious Fleischmann International Trophy. As well as foreign choirs, the festival annually features up to 100 Adult, Youth and School choirs who participate in national competitions.

Cork is noted for the friendliness of its welcome, and while competition may take center stage, the five festival days are very much based around celebrating and spreading the vibrancy of choral and vocal music. Visiting and competing choirs take every opportunity to entertain audiences through our engaging and lively fringe festival of concerts and performances set in diverse venues across the city and county.

This coming spring, the Cork International Choral Festival will continue to bring the tradition, culture and vibrancy of choral music to the people of Cork and the many visitors who travel to share this wonderful event with us each year. We look forward to having you with us!
