Cavan Private Occupational Therapy Services (CPOTS) provides a broad range of Paediatric occupational therapy evaluation, treatment and consultation services for children in a warm supportive environment.

CPOTS provides assessments for the diagnosis of DCD/Dyspraxia, Sensory processing disorder, Global Developmental Delay and OT specific assessments for ASD. Our Therapist has broad range of experience and clinical skills in identifying difficulties related to Autism spectrum Disorder.

If your child is having difficulty in school, such as with circle time, attention, fidgeting, behaviour, playing with others, daily routine, etc., We will organise a school visit to identify the needs.

We provide OT treatment for children with Sensory Processing Disorder, Dysgraphia, Gross Motor and Fine Motor Incoordination Dyspraxia / Developmental Coordination Disorder, Hypotonia, Attention Deficits, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Neurological Impairments, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Behavioural and Emotional Difficulties and others.

The treatment technique includes Sensory Integration, Sensory Attachment Intervention, DIR Floortime and Neuro Developmental Therapy, Play Based Intervention and Hand Writing without Tears. Sensory diets and home programs are prepared and upgraded to supplement occupational therapy treatment and meet your child’s individual needs.

Assessments and reports for accessible housing can be provided for councils and other voluntary agencies.
