Learn to unwind, let go, release, open and soften through breathing exercises, yoga postures, relaxation and meditation.

BREATHING TECHNIQUES: will increase your energy and help bring emotional stability and calm.

YOGA POSTURES /exercises are gentle, helping you become aware of tension in the body, releasing it and leaving you calm, relaxed and invigourated.

RELAXATION: enables you to let go of stress, tension and worry through the art of deep physical and mental relaxation.

MEDITATION: helps focus the mind, relieves endless mental chatter and so brings clarity and peace of mind.

Catherine Mc Gagh is a fully qualified yoga teacher and is a registered member of Yoga Alliance and IHCA.

She also qualified in Yoga For Pregnancy with Yoga Therapy Ireland.

Catherine has been practising yoga for twelve years and teaching yoga to adults and children for eight years.

In her classes Catherine brings together her experience as a teacher, her personal yoga practise and her training in Body-Centred Psychotherapy to create a safe, non-violent and gentle environment in which to learn the essence of yoga.



Yoga for Pregnancy

Yoga is a special time for a woman and her baby, helping to make the experience of pregnancy and birth a positive and memorable one.

By practising safe and effective Yoga stretches, breathing techniques, Yoga can help to relax the body physically, alleviating stress, tension and tiredness.

Yoga also helps to focus and relax the mind.

Yoga helps to promote suppleness, strength and fitness, helping a woman to feel more positive about her pregnancy and more aware of her baby before the birth.

Yoga may alleviate some of the common ailments of pregnancy eg. leg cramps, heartburn, swollen ankles, general aches and pains, backache. It can aid sleep also.

Yoga regulates blood pressure.

It will assist the body in adapting to the many changes that pregnancy brings about helping a woman to feel more prepared mentally, physically and emotionally for labour, birth and afterwards.

Generally it will help to maintain good health and well-being throughout pregnancy.



Yoga For Kids

The practice of yoga helps children maintain and develop their flexibility, strength, sleep better, improve concentration and preform to their full potential at home and school. The combination of breathing, posture work and relaxation/visualisation techniques help children to gain self-confidence and come to terms with many of their physical and mental developmental changes.
