Our Values

Our Service Users – We are committed to service users as individuals; to ensure your needs are met, with services that allow them to feel safe and comfortable in your own home. We will care for service users as we would like our own family members to be cared for; respecting their dignity and independence, and right to have a say in their own care.

Our Carers – Each of our home care support workers is trained and experienced in care delivery. We recruit people who show a truly caring personality, a genuine interest in people and with warmth and good humour. We check their credentials, obtain Garda vetting and ensure continuous training and development to maintain the Casla Home Care standards.

Our Services – We recognise that individual service user needs are particular to them. Each service user has a Care Plan prepared for them, based on comprehensive assessments by our Home Care Support Services Manager. We have a collaborative approach to care, and with service user consent, will consult family and other health care professionals to ensure they receive integrated care services. Care Plans are reviewed and updated as needs change and at the request of the service user.

Quality & Monitoring – We support, supervise and monitor our home care support workers, and ask service users for formal and informal feedback about our work. We have detailed policies and procedures, based on best practice and available guidelines. We ensure our staff understand and adhere to these policies and procedures and we regularly review and update them.

Openness and honesty – We are always clear about the services we offer; what we can and cannot do and what is beyond our capability. We are consistently honest about our approach and in our dealings, and open to comments, criticism and complaints, as an essential part of the continuous improvement of our service.

Value for money – We offer the best quality care and support services for a reasonable price. We endeavour to provide the best value for money for a high quality, consistent service.
