Carrigbyrne Pike Choir 2.66

This choir grew out of friendships which were formed during the bicentenary celebrations of 1798. Although the choir have sung together since 1998 at various commemorations all over the country, they are singing as an official choir since 2003. Since their beginning in 2003 it is estimated that this group, through their voluntary performances at various fund raising events, have helped raise over €100,000. Each member gives of their time freely and are always only too happy to answer the call of anyone in need. As a choir they have travelled far and wide to perform. On two occasions they have travelled overseas to Savannah, Georgia, USA to perform in St, Johns the Baptist church. Both occasions were a huge success and the choir formed many friendships with the Irish American community over there.
For Christmas 2012, the choir took on a huge project of learning new Christmas music which they performed in churches all over Wexford and Waterford. This was a yet again another huge success and as bookings are already in for this coming Christmas, please get in touch if you would like to have us come and visit your church with this wonderful production "Season of Joy".
